Total Resource Community Development Organization (TRCDO) offers diverse services to the community, and fulfills its goals through public and private donations. TRCDO continues to provide Housing Support Services, Utility & Energy Assistance, Health Awareness, Food Pantry, and Youth Programs. Our external partnerships continue to grow and include backing from US Dept. of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), Illinois Housing Development Authority (IHDA), Department of Human Services (DHS), After School Matters (ASM), Chicago Food Depository, CEDA/LIHEAP and the Chicago Public Schools, along with many community volunteers, medical, business, and education professionals.
In 2013 alone, TRCDO:
- was able to reach nearly 40,000 individuals via individual and family support services, leadership and peer training, and community outreach events.
- provided $5.7 million dollars of tangible assistance to homeowners and families in need.
- provided employment and job readiness training for 100+ individuals, resulting in our first community garden, located at 10194 South Winston Avenue in Chicago.
TRCDO is a 501(c)3 organization that provides a variety of community outreach and support services.
